Landscaping & Floral Design students can choose to pursue either landscaping or floral design/floral shop management. In Landscaping, classroom and laboratory work covers plant identification, care and propagation, and greenhouse cup production. Graduates may enter the business world or go on to college studies in horticulture or forestry. In Floral Design/Floral Shop Management, students learn principles of design, display, and care of life, cut preserved and artificial plant materials. Instruction is given in all phases of marketing and management. Graduates can begin commercial activities or study for a college degree in business.
