Return to 25% In-Person Learning: January 14, 2021

RE:  Returning to 25% Hybrid on 01/14/21

Dear BCTHS Students, Parents, Staff, and Community:

I hope everyone was able to get some sort of break during the past holidays. I am hoping that 2021 brings an end to the Coronavirus Pandemic and that a vaccine is available to all of us soon.

BCTHS will return to its 25% Hybrid model for students on their technical rotation on Thursday, January 14, 2021.  This is a “Day 7” in the rotational calendar (9th grade Tech).  This will be the same model/schedule that we previously had, whereby students on their technical rotation will come in every other day for hands-on learning.  Academics will remain in a full remote mode.

25% Hybrid Model (tech side) beginning Thursday, January 14, 2021grid

BCTHS will continue to monitor COVID cases within the county and our school and  you can view our school cases on our Dashboard.  Remember, if your child is not feeling well or has possible COVID symptoms, please do NOT send him/her to school and contact our school nurses at

BCTHS continues to be optimistic that at some time we will be able to bring students in for in-person learning for academic classes (50% Hybrid Model), but this will not occur until the region sees a drastic reduction in COVID cases.  Unfortunately, COVID continues to take its toll on us but we will eventually get passed this!

Please continue to wear your masks, wash your hands, and remain socially distant from others.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding in these tough times.
