Students enrolled in Dental Health Careers will study basic anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, bacteriology, medical, and dental terminology. Classroom and laboratory work will cover the X-ray technique, sterilization, and chairside assisting. Instruction is provided in-office procedures, including dental records, insurance, and scheduling.
Dental Health Careers prepares students with the necessary foundation to pursue the many dental specialties available. Most of our students continue their education in colleges majoring in such programs as Dental Hygiene, Expanded Function Dental Assisting (EFDA), and Pre-Dentistry.
