Students must earn a minimum of 30 credits
(7.50 per year) in the following areas:
4.0 – English
4.0 – Math
4.0 - Science
4.0 - Social Studies
2.0 - Health/Physical Education
12.0 - Vocational Core
As approved
by the Joint Board, only those students who successfully complete all
30 credits, as required for each curricular area, and complete the graduation
project, will graduate and participate in the graduation ceremony.
The purpose of the graduation
project is to assure that the student is able to apply, analyze, synthesize
and evaluate information and communicate significant knowledge and understanding.
As part of the graduation project, NOCTI testing must be completed.
A student who satisfactorily
completes a special education program developed by an Individualized
Education Program team shall be granted and issued a regular high school
diploma from Bucks County Technical High School.
