Grade 11  

Honors Language Arts – 11 (18 wks. 1 cr. 5.0 qpt.)

This course will integrate all of the communication skills including reading, writing, listening, and speaking through a thematic approach.  It will include SAT preparation.  In addition to technical writing, students will be required to complete a research paper each semester.  The Sr. project will be developed during the 10th and 11th grade years with the bulk of the project taking place during the junior year culminating with the presentation of the senior project before May 1st of the student’s junior year.  PSSA prep-work is included in this course. is

Prerequisite: “B” or better in Honors English 10 and recommendation of 10th grade English teacher.
